Psalm 62:6
He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved.

Hello Worshippers,

Thank you all again for your time and talents that are given to this ministry. I wanted you all to know that I appreciate them very much. It is always good to be reminded of the important things. God is very open about reminding us in his word about the important things. His love, his mercy, his justice and his return. So I think it could only benefit us in our walk as ministry leaders to take time to reflect on what our God has already done for us by way of His son Jesus Christ. It is good to remind ourselves why we have chosen to do what we do. I would ask each of us to take a little extra time out this week and meditate on our purpose and gaol as both individual ministry leaders and as a ministry as a whole. I can admit into falling into routine very easily, and I want to always remind myself of the important things, and remember the real reasons we do what we do. Why excellence and dedication is a part of our worship to God. What is the purpose of worship and who is it that we are worshipping? Why is it important to always be mindful of these truths about worship. I hope we can share some of these thoughts as we get together again for our next rehearsal. Let out hearts and minds continue to be focused on the one we profess to worship… The One True God, The Almighty.

Just a couple of items to note. I would like us to be a little more diligent on our rehearsal and practice times. So I would like to request all those leading worship from this point forward to be at church no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of our rehearsals. If you run into an issue and realize you will be later than that, please give me a call, text or email. I would like us to be ready to begin promptly at 6pm for our Thursday evening rehearsals and 7:30 am Sunday morning rehearsals.

The songs that are posted each week have now been in rotation for a few months (This does not include the new ones for our CD). I would like to first says thank you to those have who have taken up the challenge to begin internalizing our music, and help to begin our move away from those lovely black music stands. I appreciate it. I would hope everyone, even those not participating that given week will also continue to listen to and internalize the songs chosen for each week. This is important too, In the event that you might be needed to participate before your scheduled time. Also, this can only help in your time of worship as a member of the congregation.

I am planning a Thursday evening get together soon. It has been a few months since our last gathering and I want to make sure I am meeting the needs of all those in the ministry. If you have any questions or concerns you don’t have to wait until then, I’d really love to speak with you about anything. My door is always open. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thank you all again.

In His Strong Name,

ed

13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
