It is with many emotions that I share with you all that I have been offered a full-time position as Pastor of Worship Arts at Hannaford Street Bible Church (www.hannaford.org) in Helena, Montana, overseeing and leading worship. I have accepted the offer from Hannaford and we are excited to see what God is preparing for us.
Being a part of the worship ministry and family of Anaheim CRC for over 8 1/2 years has been such a great joy and blessing, I really have no words that can express the feelings we are currently experiencing. The relationships God has given us I know can not be hindered by distance. I know you will all be missed and that God is still sovereign and in control and we can rest in that during this time.
Being given the responsibility to minister and to lead a worship ministry full-time has been a desire and passion of mine for quite some time. I have patiently waited for God’s perfect timing and it appears now that He is calling me and my family to trust Him in this new chapter. I know we will miss all of you. I have not had an opportunity to share this news with everyone personally, but I hope to talk to all of you at some point before our official departure. The church in Helena will be moving our belongings and flying us to Montana March 1st. It’s pretty amazing how God works things. I am sure I will continue to utilize sources like Facebook, Skype, Ministry Lounge, and others to stay connected with all you.
I want to be as useful as I can during this transition and ask for your prayers during this time of change. Our plan is to continue to leading and remain at Anaheim CRC through the end of February. I will keep you all posted on our progress. Please remain in prayer as we continue on this new path God has put before us.
In His Strong Name,
ed, jessica, maddie & james
But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”
