Deuteronomy 3:24

“O Sovereign LORD, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?

Happy New Years Praise Team,

I am hoping your Christmas was a joyous and reflective time for you and your families. We have much to be grateful for. We are now at the beginning of a brand new year and look to ask God’s continued hand upon our ministry and our efforts on the coming year. I am hoping to start the year off with a time of gather as a ministry. This would be a time way from the stage and our usual Sunday morning rehearsal time. It would be a time for us as a ministry to fellowship. So I have set aside Saturday the 15th, of January at 10am at church to have a time of reflection, prayer and sharing. Please bring a bible and your thoughts on how we can continue God’s work in our ministry in the coming new year. Bring your biggest ideas and dreams as we share with one another the goals of our heart for outreach and inreach of our fellowship and community. Also, feel free to bring any new music, original or otherwise as we also look to also add a few new songs to our every growing worship song list. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to give me a call. 562.261.3161

I have  include the worship scheduler both January and February 2011. The schedules can also be found in the Calendar section of the Ministry Lounge website as well. Any changes please let me know as soon as possible at the number above. I have been working with Piet, and have made a strong effort to make sure those who are presenting with the choir Sunday mornings would not also be scheduled for praise team on those same days.

This week’s worship focuses on God’s Holiness. I pray we can reflect on this week’s scripture verse and that it would help us to draw closer to our creator and Savior. The song selection for this week include:

“You Are Holy” (Prince Of Peace)
“These Things Are True Of You”

In His Strong Name,
