2 Corinthians 12:6-9
6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, 7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Hello Team,

Hoping your week is one of peace and joy. We have much to be thankful for as those who are in Christ. We can rest in His promises and know that He is faithful to keep them. This week we focus on the grace of our Lord. I have included passages from 2 Corinthians 12:6-9 for us to meditate and reflect on, as we continue this week studing God’s perfect grace.

Change and Moving forward…

I wish I could adequately express how much I’ve enjoyed being a part of the Anaheim CRC praise and worship ministry.  It has been a true joy and pleasure working with each of you and watching God’s hand help strengthen and grow this ministry over the last 8 1/2 years. I have learned so much from each of you. I hope you know I will miss you all very much and I will always cherish the time God has given us. I know God has the right person to continue in the leading of this ministry. He is always faithful and He will never leave us nor forsake us. I am excited to see God’s plan unfold as I’m sure you all are. I will continue to keep you all in prayer.

Our music selection this week include a new song entitled: “Grace Greater Than Our Sin”. We are also joining the choir, for the song: “Days of Elijah”.Some team members have presented this song before, but it would be a good time for a little refresher course. We will be returing to our weekly rehearsal night this Thursday evening at 7pm. Hope you can make. Please do take time out this week to meditate on God and his word as well as the songs that have been selected.
